Ramadhan

The month of fasting is coming up. I really can't wait.

During the month of Ramadan, Muslims fast from dawn to duskIt becomes compulsory for Muslims to start fasting when they reach puberty, so long as they are healthy, sane and have no disabilities or illnesses.

The act of fasting is said to redirect the heart away from worldly activities. Its purpose being to cleanse the inner soul and free it from harm. It also teaches Muslims to practice self-discipline, self-control,sacrifice, and empathy for those who are less fortunate; thus encouraging actions of generosity and charity. Lastly, those traveling (musaafir) are exempt, but must make up the days they miss.

"The month of Ramadan, in which was revealed the Qur'an as guidance for mankind and clear proofs of guidance and (explainthe difference (between right and wrong). Therefore, whoever of you is present in that month, he should fast during the month ... "

Ramadan- Al-Baqarah, verse 185

Ramadan is a time for Muslims to think and reflect on themselvespray, make welfare and spend time with family and friends. It is hoped that by fasting from dawn to dusk Muslims will be able to enhance self-discipline and be generous and to remember the hardship of poor people destitute.

One Day...

My family and I was at Kampung. My grandma, my aunts, my father, my uncle and my cousins were there. We were reading Yaasin. Suddenly, we heard something and a bat came flying into room. We all ducked so it won't hit our heads. Tok Imam ran off down stairs. So did my cousin that was twenty years old. It took quite a while till the bat left. I came down and laughed at my cousin and my father.

We all thought it was over, so we coutinued reading, but as we read.. it came again, The same people came rushing down stairs. Hahaha :p. My grandma told them to get a broom but no one listened. After repeating the same words, everybody quickly tried to find the broom. My five year old cousin found it. He gave it to my uncle.
I ran down and laughed at my cousin who was far away and scared. I heard the broom hit the floor and the bat screaming...it happen many times. My five year-old cousin seemed quite excited to see a bat...he thought it was bat man.
This is a day I won't forget.

Rainy Days

I don't know why people hate the rain.
The rain is great and cool.
I really mean cool. Well, not that cold though.
When the rain come so does this cold wind. I luv it. No need for air conditioners right? Hehehe.
Rain...no sun. No heat. This cools down my heart.

Other then being cool. It's also a blessing.
Without rain no water...
Imagine our home in a dessert! Whoa!
That's hot. Anyway, all the plants will die. Except the cactus, i guess.
We also will die. Without rain they'll be no water. And without water they'll be no living things.
Just dead things!! Umm...okay. Water is important.
There are two types of rain (That I know, if there is more...umm, tell me.)
Normal rain and acid rain.
Acid rain is not good. Have you ever saw the Kota A'Famosa.
It used to look fine. Now, it looks okay...but not as great as before.
This is because of acid rain.
Acid rain can a damage buildings and historic monuments.
Acid rain does not directly affect human health. It causes heart and lung problems including asthma and bronchitis. Other plants can also be damaged by acid rain.

Tests

The exams are over. My marks are getting lower though I got number 1 in class. I don't like to brag. Test are really useful because it's to see if you remember what you've learned. Every time people hear the word exam you can hear them moaning but when its over everybody jump and cheer. Plus, I'm one of them. If  we want to pass, we have to study and read books. I understand that the books are maybe boring to most of us. The hardest subject to study (to some people) maybe History. You could be creative and do notes or maybe do a comic to remember your studies much better!
I Luv going to the Library...if there was one to go to or if i manage to go. I really love reading books. I don't know why i hate textbooks but not novels. There're both thick...but yet, different. Think about it! Maybe we just have to put our interest in our studies to luv it.

Wars

I hear news,
From afar,
Telling me about dreadful scars,
Bombs & Rockets scatter afar,
I feel hopeless just waiting,
But I'm just saying,
I saw videos & pictures of them crying,
I feel scared to watch,
Yet, they must be more terrified,
Cause' they're actually there to watch,
I can't imagine living in that commotion...,
So many emotions, Mad, Sad & Hate...
Yet, I know their fate,
To bring Justice,
I'm Lucky to be Alive!,
I feel like I want to Dive,
Into the battle,
But I'm just a weak a little girl...
Scared to face the world,
Bravery is when  a person face their fears,
I hope i won't drop a tear.

Pollutions

I see dark smokes from far,
Some are done by cars,
I wonder what going to happen,
to our beloved earth if this does not stop,
i hope this earth won't blow up!,
We can save the earth,
when we work together,
Then, the earth will be safe forever.

-Izzati-

Some time people forget, every time we throw litter we are actually dirtying our home but no one thinks it that way. They just throw anywhere as they think other people can clean up their mess. But the bad things happen. When people see a litter there they think is okay to throw it there too. And after many people throwing rubbish that one little litter become a huge pile of rubbish!! Imagine how dirty the place will be. After that place is full with garbage people will throw some where else. So...it keep continuing until the whole earth is full with rubbish like the dump! People will try some way to get rid of this problem by burning the garbage. This matter will cause air pollution and the ozone will be thinner.

Think wisely before doing something stupid unwise.
